An incredible array of high power LEDs are now available for lighting such as in Architectural design, street lighting and the multi color LEDs are revolutionizing the sign business for outdoor advertising as well as the gaming industry to name a few. Once the design is on paper, a Bill of Materials must be created and the board laid out; which produces a set of Gerber files, from which the bare circuit board can be manufactured.  Now it is time to build a prototype to confirm the designer’s work and to check to see if the board is easily assembled.  More later.
