January 19th, 2009Once the design is on paper, a Bill of Materials must be created and the board laid out; which produces a set of Gerber files, from which the bare circuit board can be manufactured. Now it is time to build a prototype to confirm the designer’s work and to check to see if the board is easily assembled. More later.
